Chessie

Each Chessie track attacks electronic sound like a subversive attempt to undermine its history. He assembles piles of distorted ambiance, fractured breakbeats, plundered audio and Techno detritus, and detonates them. His music is both the textural ashes that scatter into the air and the rhythmic shards that fall to the ground. This is not a hyperkinetic assemblage, but often austere, contemplative and introspective.
