Biography

Most everyone can hum at least a couple of Chris Kenner songs ("Land of a 1,000 Dances," "I Like it Like That"), but they know them from other versions. Kenner's gritty take on classic New Orleans R&B still sounds as spicy as a heaping plate of red beans and rice.
