Chris Perez Band

Chris Perez used to play guitar for his late wife, Tejano queen Selena, as well as for Los Dinos. His romantic Folk-Rock songs are soaring, passionate pieces with some of the saddest, heartbroken lyrics ever written -- made all the more acute if you are familiar with the untimely 1994 death of his young, talented wife. While warm electric guitar tones are accompanied by swirling Rhodes keyboard playing and a tasteful rhythm section, Perez unleashes just as much feeling in his guitar playing as he does with his singing.
