She was Suba's Brazilian muse, and she's sung with new Bossa Nova artist Celso Fonseca. But Cibelle deserves props for her solo work: her 2003 debut mined a more delicate, upbeat version of Suba's electronics-damaged work, and vocally she's clearly heiress to the Gal Costa/Marisa Monte throne. Gentle tracks like "Deixa," "Hate" and "Waiting" are all worth repeated listens.
