Cinderella

Over the span of (their first) three albums, Cinderella evolved from run-of-the-mill hair metal band to a gritty, bluesy, rock band with enough genuine swagger to draw comparisons to Mick Jagger. Unlike their mentor Bon Jovi, Cinderella's career had trouble moving beyond the '80s, and the onset of Grunge just about sealed this Pennsylvania band's fate as a product of their time.
