Biography

By the mid-1990s, the wave of '88 New York Straight Edge bands began to ebb, with almost all the bands who made the scene breaking up. CIV (featuring the former singer and bassist of the Gorilla Biscuits) became one of the most popular post-Hardcore bands, using early '80s Punk/New Wave melodies in traditional New York Hardcore songs.
