Clarence Fountain was a founding member of the colossal group originally known as the Five Blind Boys of Alabama (not to be confused with the Five Blind Boys, the Five Blind Boys of Mississippi, the Original Five Blind Boys, the Original Five Blind Boys of Mississippi, the Blind Boys, the Three Blind Mice, Blind Faith, Percy Faith or Michael Bolton). His smooth, blues-based Gospel songs share the sheen of Bobby Bland and the love-man style of Marvin Gaye. You can expect to hear passionate versions of Gospel standards with an easy tempo and a Memphis groove.
