Led by brothers Lupe and Sergio Degollado, Control set out to do regional Mexican music a little differently: they decided to play uptempo cumbias in a norteno style. The resulting sound -- and the accompanying suite of suave dance moves -- has made them the hottest commodity on the Mexican circuit and launched a new trend in cumbia.
