Full Circle
Creed
Released:
Oct 2009
Label:
Wind-Up
There may be speculation as to the motivations behind Creed's reunion (last we heard, they all hated each other), but it seems their hiatus has done them good; snaking guitars and a defiant Scott Stapp elevate Full Circle, the band's first album since 2001. The dropped tuning and numerous guitar solos (never a bad idea for a rock band) were good decisions, and tracks like "Overcome" will win over even the most fervent non-believers. "Rain" returns Creed to its Pearl Jam-ery roots, but for the most part, the band sounds more dangerous than ever.
