"I've got a PhD in ADD," Lovefoxxx slyly snarls on "F*ck Everything." It's nice to see CSS haven't lost any of their irreverence, even if that ADD still reigns over their music. La Liberacion boasts some cool guest stars -- Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie, Ratatat, pianist Mike Garson -- as the Brazilians try to navigate their way between the discotheque and the punk club. "I Love You" has a Pixies touch, "Hits Me Like a Rock" and "Echo of Love" work a reggae sway, "City Grrrl" has potential to kick Gaga off the dancefloor, and "La Liberacion" proves punk can be translated into any language.
