Biography

Vancouver's Cub deliver pure joy by way of bittersweet -- albeit more sweet than bitter -- melodies. Their raw guitar suggests a soft summer breeze passing through '60s Garage sound. Cub's vocal harmonies don't evoke the sing-by-numbers pop of '60s Girl Groups as much as the catchy, jubilant cooing of the Beach Boys. Cub is ice cream that never melts under the July sun.
