Curt Smith

As one half of the Tears For Fears duo, Curt Smith topped the charts during the '80s with classics such as "Pale Shelter" and "Everybody Wants To Rule The World." His distinct voice begs comparison to Tears For Fears, but Smith's latest music takes on a more rose-colored hue, drawing heavily from psychedelic-era Beatles. There's a bit of Grunge scattered among faster-paced efforts, but it takes backseat to the melodies and countermelodies in lushly adorned, slower offerings.
