Dabrye reasserts his status as the missing link between the glitch-hop of Prefuse 73 and the looser, lo-fi psychedelia of Dilla and Madlib. Swerving, off-kilter drums and atomized, loopy organ bursts make "Get Dirty" both disorienting and hypnotizing, while the masked MF DOOM creeps through the eerie, carnivalesque atmosphere of "Air." L.A.'s Flying Lotus, meanwhile, reimagines the fractured electro glass of "Game Over" as a slurry dose of mercurial hip-hop.
