Dan Baird

Dan Baird was the frontman and main songwriter for the roots rock band the Georgia Satellites, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that his solo work is an extension of their sound. A loose, rocking effort a la the early Stones, Baird infuses his music with a certain southern charm and a somewhat sleazy sense of humor. The man certainly knows his way around a double entendre!
