Fans of the late Dan Fogelberg, who succumbed to cancer in 2007, knew a posthumous release was due. They just weren't sure when. Featuring 11 previously unreleased songs, Love in Time was supposed to come out in '08 but was delayed a year. The record finds Fogelberg doing what he's always done best: smooth singer-songwriter pop with a dash of twang. The only real difference is the singer's voice. The soaring gull of his youth has been replaced with an old, wizened bird who sticks close to shore.
