You probably don't know Dan Tyminski. But chances are you've heard him sing. He's George Clooney's man-of-constant-sorrow voice in that Cohen brothers flick, O Brother, Where Art Thou? He's also a key member in Union Station, Alison Krauss' backing band. Put those two facts together and you'll understand Wheels' basic aesthetic: crisp, clean modern bluegrass with a hint of rustic nostalgia. Sure, Tyminski gets a little too Nashville at times, but no worries. The dude sure knows how to croon.
