Released:
Label: Virtual Label LLC
His label says Dan Zanes is making age-desegregated folk music, and to be honest, we couldn't have put it better. Zanes has found a multigenerational audience for his roots music explorations, and this album resulted from a months-long house party in which everybody from Bob Weir to Angelique Kidjo, Philip Glass and Debbie Harry stopped in to record. Given the sheer number of songs, the album hangs together surprisingly well, and it all speaks on a basic level to kids...without pandering to them.
