Rudolf's stories are unquestionably silly, but you have to admire the guy's tongue-in-cheek take on popular culture and his dead-pan delivery: this album plays like a set of Monty Python skits for kids. He spoofs the Wide World of Sports, television food critics and classic kids rhymes, then swerves into mock goofy histories of significant figures like Alexander Graham Bell and Ben Franklin, changing it up often enough to keep kids rapt attention.
