David Cavazos

He was raised in Monterrey, Mexico -- sometimes called the Seattle of Mexico for its thriving Latin alternative scene -- but no rock 'n' roll for dedicated crooner David Cavazos. Cavazos grew up taking singing lessons and immersing himself in the sounds of both classic and contemporary ballad singers. When he was just 18 years old, he began composing music that lived at the intersection of diverse styles, including bolero, bossa nova, jazz and pop. In 2008 he unleashed this sultry combination on the world with his self-titled debut album.
