He saves his screeching for when it really counts, but when vocalist Dahm goes for it, it's enough to raise the hair on the back of the neck of many a Judas Priest fan. The band's 11-song debut is more than the hot tempered guitar riff 'n' chug routine, though. These former members of Slint update vintage Metallica churn with just a touch of math rock.
