Dino's Capitol Records singles such as "Volare," "Sway" and "Ain't That a Kick in the Head" are still widely heard today, but initially they didn't sell that well. His commercial peak came later, during his stint at Sinatra's Reprise label (where Martin far outsold his old pal). Much of this material is in the Nashville pop style, but don't laugh -- Martin had a real feel for country music. The first two songs here are deservedly beloved and were massive No. 1s. "Everybody Loves Somebody" has the distinction of making Dino the first artist to knock the Beatles off the top of the charts.
