Denis DiBlasio

An astoundingly talented flautist and baritone saxophone player, DiBlasio adeptly plays a variety of standards and originals with an always exciting cast of backing musicians. Though they draw deeply from jazz's history, these are fresh, exciting, modern interpretations. DiBlasio's amazing rendition of "One Note Samba" has to be heard -- he sings harmony to his percussive flute playing all at once.
