Derek Webb

Derek Webb was a founding member and the primary songwriter for the folk-pop CCM group Caedmon's Call for nearly a decade before taking the leap to a solo artist. His first release was so theologically hard-hitting that it split the crowd down the middle. Half the room felt it was a little harsh while the rest thought it was refreshingly challenging. But believing in his vision served Derek Webb well over the next two years, as he released three more LPs, including The House Show, a live collection of his intimate music and teaching gatherings, recorded in private homes. Webb is married to fellow artist Sandra McCracken.
