Biography

Dif Juz were a short-lived band on the 4AD label with a distinct, muted instrumental sound that would later typify that label's music. From West London, they began playing in the early '80s, supporting such Post-Punk luminaries as the Birthday Party and Jah Wobble. Their shifting and shimmering sound conjured up heavy atmospherics while laying down quiet elusive rhythms marked by Richard Thomas' gentle saxophone accompaniment.
