DiskothiQ

Almost everybody loves football, so it was only a matter of time until a band started making NFL dedicated songs. Problem is, that band turned out to be DiskothiQ, and you get the feeling they're not exactly the face-painting, season-ticket holding type. Simply titled songs like, "Falcons," and "Bears," (which offers, "No one's ever accused me of being ambitious / Not with any degree of accuracy anyway / If we started to win, it'd just look suspicious") are wryly derisive commentaries sung to cutesy, perfectly poppy melodies. Beats bounce, guitars chime, and the lead singer's slightly whiny vocals lead the way through not-so-subtle put downs of the mesh jersey set.
