Biography

Famed for discovering the "acid effect" in the mid-80s Chicago House explosion, DJ Pierre was one-third of the Phuture crew. The group unleashed the instant classic "Acid Trax" upon the masses in 1986, a move which spawned the historic Acid House movement. By the '90s, DJ Pierre had shed his early acid techniques to focus his skills on laying down floor-focused rhythms lined with crowd-moving effects and well-honed DJ expertise.
