Biography

Brainy late-'70s August Darnell disco project, fronted by cutie pie Fonda Rae, were a sort of missing link between Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band and Kid Creole & the Coconuts. Fun fact: a showdown between their song about showdowns and the New York Dolls' song about showdowns would be a very close contest. Highly recommended: "Deputy of Love," "I'm an Indian Too," "Goin' to a Showdown"
