Biography
Amazingly, this Texan did not become a professional musician until the age of 60, when he retired from his job as an auditor for the Texas National Guard. Walser's music is very much a product of Texas, anachronistically blending Western Swing, cowboy songs, hard Honky-Tonk and Yodeling. The tall, rotund singer has an amazing vocal range and humorous stage manner.
