Drake Bell

Drake Bell started playing guitar after his fifth birthday, but first entered the spotlight as a child actor, nabbing a gig alongside actor and noted Scientologist Tom Cruise in the blockbuster film Jerry McGwire (he was the hockey player's son). After bouncing from one Nickelodeon role to the next (a laundry list that includes Drake and Josh and Zoey 101) he started to pursue a career as a recording artist, debuting in 2005 with Telegraph. The independently-release record featured the "Drake and Josh" theme song, "I Found A Way," and led to a record deal with Universal, which released It's Only Time in 2006.
