Biography

Duck Sauce are a collaboration between New York house legend Armand van Helden and A-Trak, a champion turntablist (and Kanye's tour DJ) turned electro-house figurehead. A pair of singles in 2009 found favor with club audiences, but the duo crossed over with 2010's "Barbara Streisand," a bouncy, ska-inflected anthem that sampled Boney M's "Gotta Go Home" and went on to top Billboard's dance charts as well as European pop charts. The song's giddy vibe and absurdist flair helped it go viral: in its first six months online, the video racked up more than 47 million views.
