Biography

Having penned songs for the likes of Joe Diffie, Karen Staley and Mark Chesnutt, Dusty Drake is living proof that not all drummers are daft lunatics with marbles lost as a result of hitting things with sticks all the time. Drake played drums in several bands in his native Pennsylvania before relocating to Music City to let his own voice ring over the rhythms of a different drummer. His sound is a captivating and sometimes-lilting collage of sensitive country ballads hit hard by the occasional rocker.
