Dwele is the quiet dog of the soul circuit, an indie artist who can move close to 100K units. Wants, World, Women splits an hour of songs into three distinct sections, two of which concern the fairer sex ("Wants" and "Women"). The third, "World," finds him indulging his inner Marvin Gaye with think pieces such as the bittersweet "Hangover" and, less successfully, "How I Deal." Collaborators on this uneven concept album include David Banner, who adds a verse to "Dodgin' Your Phone," and Raheem DeVaughn, who joins Dwele for the ecstatic love jam "Dim the Lights."
