Eagle-Eye Cherry

Anyone who's heard the pesteringly unshakable chorus of "Save Tonight" knows Eagle-Eye Cherry. What they may not know is that, whether or not he ends up a mere one-hit wonder, he does at least have musical ability in his chromosomal makeup. His sister Neneh had a big hit in 1989 with "Buffalo Stance" and his father Don was a legendary jazz trumpeter. It's tough to say what they'd think of his relatively tame, though certainly radio-friendly, style of lyrically sensitive acoustic guitar rock.
