Eden Atwood

Eden Atwood is an exquisite jazz vocalist who adds a touch of vibrato to the cool toned Peggy Lee/Shirley Horn approach. Though she's of the rock and rap generation, Atwood sings top standards, searches for neglected chestnuts and pens original lyrics that stand up to the past masters. The fact that Atwood records for Concord Records, a jazz label that mainstream acoustic jazz and vocal fans know they can trust, says something about the level of her abilities.
