Eleanor McEvoy

Like the recent work of Irish Folk star Luka Bloom, about the only discernibly Irish characteristic about McEvoy's recent recordings is the accent. Not one to stand on tradition, she prefers a less geographically specific acoustic folk sound and tends to sing songs that question a woman's place.
