Label: Metropolis Records
Detroit's Electric Six continue to blur genres with their fourth release, blending synth pop, pomp rock, bits of disco and a healthy dose of glam. They give the impression of a band that can play whatever they want at any given moment, but they never let this get in the way of good tunes, particularly "Broken Machine," "When I Get To The Green Building" and the amusing "Lenny Kravitz," which sounds like it will become the song they're always going to play live right before "Gay Bar."
