Sounding like an irresistible blend of Gary Glitter, Def Leppard and the Scissor Sisters, Electric Six traverse many genres but are best categorized as a dance rock/punk outfit. Those only familiar with kittens dancing on the web to "Gay Bar" may be surprised to learn that E6 have a marked talent for a catchy stomper, as evidenced by the 13 corkers on 2006's Switzerland. The chorus on "I Buy the Drugs" is worth the price of admission alone.
