Electric Skychurch

The lead vocalist of Electric Skychurch, Roxanne Morgenstern, has said that she bypasses the use of traditional song lyrics in order for the music to transcend words. The band's most famous gigs have been full-moon raves in the California desert, where their hypnotic ambient techno music induces trance-like experiences in hundreds of people. That said, some of their music sounds rather like '80s synth pop. It's a fun trip nonetheless.
