I Am an Elvis Fan is the outcome of an online campaign that offered fans an opportunity to vote for the songs they want to see on the tracklisting. Not surprisingly, they picked a lot of hits, from "Don't Be Cruel" and "Viva Las Vegas" to "In the Ghetto" and "All Shook Up." What's more, they voted for a heaping portion of syrupy goop, stuff like "Can't Help Falling in Love" and "Always on My Mind." What really stands out is the paltry amount of actual rock 'n' roll -- eight tracks at the most. Plus, there's not a single song from his Sun years -- no "Mystery Train," no "Good Rockin' Tonight."
