by Eric Clapton
Released: Mar 1998
"Father's Eyes" was a modest hit for Clapton, and as far as his latest material goes, it's not a bad song. The rest of Pilgrim follows a similar pattern, alternating between soft-focus AAA and, well, softer-focus AAA. The guitar playing is more refined and distant than ever. This isn't classic Clapton, but it's better than that acoustic record.
