Biography
Formed in Tempe, Ariz., in 2004, Eyes Set to Kill play a combination of heartfelt ballads and rockers with a slight emo-metal feel. Clean female croons and dirty male vocals ride over strong radio melodies, sketching out a plan of attack that is part Warped Tour scream-along rock and part mid-tempo lovelorn cry-alongs. Launched by sisters Alexia and Anissa Rodriguez, the band has gone through innumerable lineup changes over three albums, with their second record, 2009's The World Outside, garnering the quintet a modest amount of critical favor. Due to damage to his vocal chords, screamer Brandon Anderson left the band before the recording of its third album, Broken Frames.
