This preview of the Christian rock subversives' 2008 album employs fattened synthesizers, steady club beats, vocoders, heavy(ish) guitars and the total lack of overt Christian messages that have won the band as much praise as criticism in ACCM circles. The three songs exemplify the six-piece's self-described "crunk rock" -- a mix of new wave, hip-hop, emocore and dance pop (think Shalamar played by anointed white post-hardcore kids from Atlanta). The idea is to get folks dancing but the Olds bros don't seem all that concerned with whether or not people leave room for the Holy Spirit.
