Just as his half-brother Seun's fame is exploding around the world, older brother Femi drops a greatest-hits collection to remind us that he hit the microphones first. Femi's Afrobeat has always fallen several feet from the Fela tree, embracing electronics a bit more readily than his contemporaries. On his Collection, Kuti brings Mos Def aboard for a remake of "Do Your Best"; Macy Gray and D'Angelo join him for a take on his father's "Water Get No Enemy"; and a boatload of remixes rounds out a nice if non-essential album.
