There's no caveat emptor with Fennesz' albums. With titles like On a Desolate Shore a Shadow Passes By, you know you're in for some big-time sensuality, and Black Sea is no different. The Viennese guitarist and laptopper's sixth album for Touch offers yet another fuzz-fest of epic proportions, as snaky guitar lines are fed through a welter of digital processing, coming out the other end as a rose-tinted mist. With titles like "Grey Scale" and "The Colour of Three," this is music made for synaesthetics. And even if you're not, it will have you hearing in rainbow hues by the end.
