About Fine China
This Arizona quartet takes up where the synth-driven New Wave bands of the 1980s left off. With an updated twist on dance-influenced Brit Pop, Fine China craft a sound that, while nodding to their inspirations, is fresh and full of Indie Rock spunk. Driving beats and an assortment of tinkling-and-blipping synth adornments weave a rich tapestry for singer Rob Withem's somewhat androgynous, falsetto-ish voice. With an obvious grasp of sharp hooks and sing-along melodies, Fine China craft irresistibly sassy, bouncing pop.
