Released: Apr 1991
Label: Columbia
Feel the bass! Smell the flannel! Although the group's 1991 effort was its first for a major label, the album was still typical of the earnest yet cynical side of American underground indie rock. The lines between Mike Watt's fluid, punk-funk workouts and Ed Crawford's more recognizable basic songs are clear, and it's Watt who wins out.
