Released:
Label: Eglo Records
It's only three tracks deep, but this EP packs in more ideas than many artists manage in a double LP. Inspired by the slow-motion house music of Moodymann and Theo Parrish, all three tracks are awash in tender Rhodes keys and bright analog synthesizers. Their chord progressions are far more complex than dance music typically is, but even at their pitched-down tempos, they're as forceful as the most functional club track, with some of the deepest bass possible. It's perfect makeout-mixtape fare, and essential summertime listening.
