Fly Pan Am

Like other Post-Rock instrumentalists, Fly Pan Am's music exists in movements rather than traditional verse/chorus structures. Clocking in around fifteen minutes, each song's lilting melody develops subtly -- a singular, murky bass pattern often motions the other instruments to follow. Slowly moving towards the door, guitars painstakingly add single notes around murky, de-tuned bass until they too find sanctity in communal, interdependent structures. Betiding slowly, songs swell and retreat, creating the visceral beauty and sadness of silently watching a room darken in the evening.
