Foghat had bigger hits, but their version of "I Just Want to Make Love to You" on this 1972 debut is the best thing either they or Dave Edmunds (who produced it) ever did. The overdriven vocals and metallic robot guitars simply cannot be played loud enough. There are other good songs here ("Trouble Trouble," "Sara Lee") -- just stay away from the Chuck Berry cover.
