Biography

Strozier has an aggressive tone on alto sax -- unfortunately, he hasn't had a chance to record it as much as many people would like. He performed with many great bands in the '60s and '70s, including the Miles Davis Quintet (briefly), the Modern Jazz Quintet, and Don Ellis' group.
